English. The strength of a second shake on the same trees (cv "Moraiolo") during a trial of mechanical olive harvesting is related. With this double shake the harvest rose to 93% of fruits and 96% of oil on the total amount present on the same tree at the time of the first shake. In any case the mechanical harvesting gives considerably better results than those obtained with manual harvesting. The second shake decreases the average conditioned by the the average productiveness of the two shakes in respect to that of a single shake. The productiveness of the second shake is, however, conditioned by the number of residual fruits on the tree after the first shake.
Show more [+] Less [-]ITALIANO: Gli AA. riportano i risultati di una prova operativa di raccolta meccanica delle olive (cv "Moraiolo") tendente a verificare l'opportunita ad effettuare due scuotiture sulle stesse piante. Il duplice intervento ha permesso di raccogliere il 93% dei frutti ed il 96% dell'olio della quantita presente sulla pianta alla data della prima scuotitura. La produttivita del lavoro della raccolta meccanica, in ogni caso, e risultata notevolmente superiore rispetto a quella ottenuta con la raccolta manuale. Il ricorso alla seconda scuotitura determina, comunque, in confronto a quella relativa ad una sola scuotitura, una riduzione della produttivita media delle due operazioni. La produttivita relativa alla seconda scuotitura e, comunque, legata al numero dei frutti residui sulla pianta dopo la prima raccolta.
