Study of protozoa in both natural and rearing frogs (Rana tigerina) reveals 99 % infected with protozoa 4 species; Nyctotherus cordiformis, Opalina obtrigonoidea, Opalina hylaxena and Balantidium duodeni. The organs mostly infected are the lower part of the hind gut and the rectum. The protozoan fauna were record 57.1 %, 52.4 %, 33.3 % and 4.8 % respectively from the frog samples examined.
