Efectos del riego sobre la salinidad y composici.n del complejo de cambio de un suelo recuperado de las marismas de Lebrija.

English. The Guadalquivir river marshes, located in the ancient estuary, cover an area of 142.000 ha. They are formed on soils of alluvial origin, very clayey, with a saline . sodic nature and a shallow very saline water table. Part of this soils have been reclaimed to agricultural use by the installation of a drainage system and the construction of the "Bajo Guadalquivir" Channel for irrigation water supply. The objective of this work is to determine the composition of the in situ soil solution and exchange complex, and its evolution between two consecutives irrigations, using the EXPRESO model, (Rieu et al, 1998). This estimation would permit us to optimize the irrigation application and its amount, in order to help the salt leaching. The soil samples (0-0.30, 0.30-0.60 y 0.60-0.90 m) used in this work were obtained in a farm plot of 6 ha (Lebrija, Sector BXII), situated on the left bank of the river. Sugar beet was growing on it, and sprinkling irrigations were applied. There was a first sampling in order to characterize the plot. A 0.5 ha subplot was selected in order to study the evolution of the chemical equilibrium between adsorbed species and soil solution with the irrigation. The chemical analysis were determined in the saturated paste extracts for soluble ions. Exchangeable cations were determined using a method described by Tucker, 1974. The initial sampling showed a soil of clayey texture, saline-sodic, slightly alkaline, calcareous, with low nitrogen and organic matter contents and medium values of available P. The experimental results obtained between two irrigations showed an increase in the saturated paste extract electrical conductivity (ECsp) and a decrease in the exchangeable after irrigation. This trend follows up for five days at the depth of 0 - 0.30 and 0.30 - 0.60 m, and not so long at 0.60 - 0.90 m. This data have been introduced in the EXPRESO model to know the evolution of the chemical composition of the soil solution, the exchange and precipitated phases at the in situ water content.

Spanish; Castilian. Las Marismas del Guadalquivir, situadas en el antiguo estuario del r.o, ocupan una zona de unas 142.000 ha. Est.n formadas por suelos de origen aluvial muy arcillosos, y que presentan un car.cter salino-s.dico, con una capa fre.tica poco profunda y salinizada. Parte de estos suelos han sido recuperados para la agricultura, mediante la instalaci.n de un sistema de drenaje y la construcci.n del Canal del Bajo Guadalquivir para el aporte de agua de riego. El objetivo de este trabajo es determinar, mediante el uso del modelo de simulaci.n EXPRESO, (Rieu et al. 1998), la composici.n in situ de la soluci.n del suelo y del complejo de cambio, y su evoluci.n entre dos riegos sucesivos. Esto permitir.a optimizar el momento de aplicaci.n del riego y la cuant.a del mismo para favorecer el lavado de sales. Las muestras de suelo (0 - 0.30, 0.30 - 0.60 y 0.60 - 0.90 m) se tomaron en una parcela de 6 ha (Lebrija, Sector BXII), situada en el margen izquierdo del r.o, cultivada con remolacha azucarera y sometida a riego por aspersi.n. Se realiz. un primer muestreo para la caracterizaci.n general de la parcela, y se escogi. una subparcela de 0.5 ha para el seguimiento del equilibrio entre las especies adsorbidas y las solubles presentes en el suelo durante el tiempo transcurrido entre riegos. Los an.lisis en el laboratorio se realizaron sobre extracto de pasta saturada para los iones solubles, y mediante el m.todo descrito por Tucker, (1974) para los iones cambiables. Del muestreo inicial se deduce que son suelos arcillosos, salino-s.dicos, ligeramente alcalino, pobres en materia org.nica y nitr.geno, y con un contenido medio en f.sforo asimilable. Los datos obtenidos en el estudio entre riegos muestran un aumento significativo de la conductividad el.ctrica del extracto de pasta saturada (CEps), para las muestras inmediatamente despu.s del riego, observ.ndose adem.s un descenso significativo en el contenido de los iones cambiables. Este aumento de la CEps se prolonga hasta el quinto d.a despu.s del riego en los primeros 0.60 m de profundidad, y durante algo menos entre 0.60 y 0.90 m. Estos datos se han utilizado como entrada en el programa EXPRESO, para el estudio de la evoluci.n de las condiciones in situ del suelo.
