In this work results of mineral adsorbents application are presented considering diet of fattening chickens. The aim of this examination was to determine if the mineral adsorbents Minazel and Minazel Plus, added into diets, had infl uence on yield and share of some categories of chicken meat. The examination was done on 400 fattening chickens of Cobb 500 provenience, divided into four groups according to the following design: control group K (100 chickens, 0,0% of mineral adsorbent); experimental group O-I (100 chickens, 0,5% of Minazel); experimental group O-II (100 chickens 0,2% of Minazel Plus) experimental group O-III (100 chickens 0,3% of Minazel Plus). The feeding trial lasted for 42 days. Feed and water supply for chickens was ad libitum applying fl oor housing system. Since the yield of carcass as well as the yield and share of some meat categories of cold carcass dressing are very important facts of quality, the influence of feeding treatments on some mentioned traits was monitored. The results of trial show that chickens of O-I group had the greatest yield of meat of the fi rst category (919.50 g) and the chickens of K-group (773.53 g) the lowest. The greatest yield of meat of the second category (919.50 g) had O-I group (141.10 g) and the chickens of K-group (122.36 g) the lowest. The greatest yield of the third category meat had O-I group (393.11gr) and the chickens of K-group (260.08 g) the lowest. The differences between groups were statistically signifi cant (P is less than 0.05) and statistically very signifi cant (P is less than 0.01).
