Alchemilla velebitica (Borbás ex Janchen) Degen (Rosaceae) is endemic Balkan species widespread on the mountains of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, southeastern Serbia, Albania, western Macedonia and western Greece. In this work, inventigation on antioxidant potential and phenolic compounds of Alchemilla velebitica extract was performed. Conclusion: Due to high content of different phenolics, mainly ellagitannins, high antioxidant potential of investigated extracts could be explained. In herb extract additional flavonol glycosides were present.
