The work presents the results of exploitation testing of two types of devices for picking of mercantile maize. In this paper we examined technical characteristics of the corn picker BERKO and ZMAJ 222, according to the quality of picking ears, damage and losses of grain, the productivity and fuel consumption. The testings have been carried out in different conditions for picking, depending on location and hybrid of maize.
