The aim of this paper is to research the assumption that the mixing biodiesel from waste palm oil with biodiesel from other oil feedstock can improve low temperature characteristics of biodiesel. The tested biodiesel is produced in a batch process by the method of base-catalyzed transesterification reaction oil with methyl alcohol. The results obtained represent the basis for further research of possibilities of application of waste oil biodiesel and improvement of its low temperature characteristics. Using waste oil, which occurs as a by-product of food preparation, production of biodiesel would solve two current problems: disposal of unwanted dangerous wastes and production of environmentally friendly fuels. Waste palm oil biodiesel does not meet any low-temperature characteristics of biodiesel and bio-heating oil set by standards. By mixing waste palm oil biodiesel and rapeseed oil biodiesel, compared 30:70, a mixture of biodiesel is obtained that, from the filterability standpoint, meets the requirements of EN 14214 and EN 590 standards.
