The aim of this paper is that, based on direct measurements of cows quantify the welfare determined in accordance with the health of cows on the farm. The essay was entered 19 dairy farms in the territory of AP Vojvodina (Serbia). The analysis of frequency distribution from welfare on farms, we conclude that the estimates are related to the good health of cows lower than expected (turn left distribution). Lower grades can be explained by the presence of various diseases, especially diseases hooves, udder, reproductive disorders and peripartal diseases. These results suggest that veterinarians should have a more significant role in protecting the health of farm animals.
