In this work it has been presented the state of the art of nursery production of dominant fruit species in the Republic of Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina) between 2007 and 2009. Nursery apple and pear cultivars were studied more detailed as they are the main species in Bosnia and Herzegovina. State within the nursery production is clearly pointing out that there is intensification of fruit production as well. Results showed that chose of apple and pear cultivars (Idared and Villiams) is still partly done on traditional way. At the same time producers are open for intensification of fruit production having in mind environmental conditions of production.
