Pesticides are chemical substances used for pest control in agriculture, household, public areas and barns where animals are kept. The pesticides include weed killers, pest disinfection, rodent control as well as many repellents for insects, birds and wild animals. According to data UNEP (International Programme of United Nations for Nature) in 1992 and pesticides are among the best studied chemicals in terms of their toxicity. Biotic pesticides must be effective and safe for the simultaneous and useful plants, animals and man. In veterinary toxicology important place takes insecticides from carbamates and organophosphates. Poisoning livestock these pesticides can peracute, acute, subacute and chronic. Treatment of poisoned animals can be successfully after use of specific antidotes and symptomatic therapy.
