The peacock (Pavo cristatus) is a large and brightly colored bird of the pheasant family native to South Asia, but introduced and semi-feral in many other parts of the world. Like at other birds, coccidiosis present a serious health problem to peacocks, especially at breeding at households, parks or zoo. At peacock were established next coccidia species: Eimeria arabica, Eimeria kharjensis n.sp., Eimeria mandali, Eimeria mayurai, Eimeria mutica n.sp., Eimeria pavonina, Eimeria pavonis, Eimeria patnaiki and Eimeria riyadhae.
