Modern man is facing the growing problem of insufficient arable land and healthful and tasty food. As one of the answers to the aforementioned challenges emerged hydroponic method of growing crops that does not require a connection between land and plants. This enables connection of intensive cultivation of plants with the interior space. In this paper, through a series of economic and environmental analysis, analysis of the average consumption and case studies, is proposed architectural solution of hydroponic system of growing vegetables and fruit as a dietary supplement of a family of four observed in the course of one year. The result of integrating plant breeding and interior design affects not only economic and environmental sustainability, but also improves indoor comfort and quality of life of the family. Encouraging multiple use of such systems gives a significant contribution to the solution to limited internal space and farmland, developing awareness of the individual and offers a smart product to complement the modern lifestyle.
