The landscape with outstanding features Vrsac Mountains has ecological significance in the function of the preservation of the habitat of various plant and animal species as their living communities. The non-disturbance of the established biological balance is important in order to preserve phytocenoses (and the related species) and to prevent their progradational succession, and also to preserve their authenticity and representativeness. On the other hand, the development of tourism on Vrsac Mountains is intensive, which includes certain negative impacts on the entire geospace, too. The prevention of the negative tendencies requires the timely consideration of the biodiversity in this area and its preservation, under these conditions. The controlled way of the management of the biodiversity, taking into account the sustainable development policy, would ensure the preservation and improvement of the biodiversity at the local and regional level. At the same time, the aim of this paper is to suggest the procedures and measures to control and check the state of the elements of the environment of the Landscape with the outstanding features Vrsac Mountains.
