Using of forest multioperational technologies in the harvest and transportation processes contribute for higher operation effectivity in forest industry and also to better ergonomics of work. Harvester technologies (harvester + forwarder) are used mainly for cut-to-length method of harvest, but also is possible to use these machines separately. Forwarders are successfully used for combined technologies aimed at biomass for energy purposes production, where they cany on harvest residues logging, branchwood packing or biomass transportation from fast-growing tree plantations (willow, poplar). Research was realized in OZ Rožňava, LS Nižná Slaná. For wood hauling from forest stands involved with windbreakage were used two types of forwarders, namely Rottne Solid F12-S a John Deere 1110D. During work of these machines was realized time measuring of working operations. On the basis of correlation analysis were detected the most important factors which have an influence on efficiency of wood forwarding by forwarders.
