Within the period of one year was daily controlled the content of fatless dry substances (fat-free dry matter) in raw cow milk from its delivery for the dairy treatment and processing. Milk was from the redspotted Holstein-Friesian breed milk cows from 10 places of collection in one agricultural farm. The content of fatless dry substance was ascertained on the instrument Milko-Scan Foss Electronic (Denmark). The measured up values (3600 were grouped into the individual days of the lunar cycles (28 days) and the average values were calculated. In the course of lunar cycle there were noticed two periods with the increased content and two periods with decreased content of fatless dry substanees. The first period of increased content is approximately between the first and second lunar quarter, the second is between the full moon and the latest quarter. The decreased contents are before the full moon and the young. The average content of fatless dry substanee from the both periods of maximum was 8.9 % and from the both minimum periods was 8.71 % of the weight. The difference between them was significant (P 0.01). The changes of the content of fatless dry substanee are in correspondence with the changes of geomagnetic activity.
