The interaction equation is derived by incorporating the effect of dynamic surface mobility into the equations which approximate the surface Helmholtz integral equation and by requiring velocity compatibility at the fluid-surface interface. The method is implemented through an interface between the computer program, XWAVE, for acoustic pressure calculations and NASTRAN. The method is demonstrated by calculating the shell-surface-fluid interaction pressures on a hollow sphere submerged in an infinite fluid and excited by a radial point harmonic forcing function. The surface pressure results are compared with values calculated using an analytic formula of M.C. Junger.
