There were presented results of estimation of the dynamics of the content of the basic nutritious elements of bottomland soils in 2003-2005 as a result of the application of adjustable flooding in a polder system of 'Yamno' object in the Agricultural Production Cooperative 'Lasitsk' (Pinsk region, Brest region, Belarus). As a result of the analysis there was revealed essential influence of the factor of 'flooding term' on the content of nitrate nitrogen - 26.1%, labile phosphorus - 23.1%, labile calcium - 60.9%. Considerable dependence of the content of labile potassium forms on the depth of sample selection (41.1%) was established. Dependence of the content on the factor of 'year conditions' was revealed only for nitrogen - 21.2%, for phosphorus, potassium and calcium such dependence remained small - 0.9, 6.4 and 0.7%, respectively. As a result of the researches the expediency of the application of adjustable flooding for increase of effective fertility of inundated soils and optimization of their use was established. As a result of the realized studies for the improvement of nitrogen nutrition of plants it was recommended to realize winter and summer flooding, for the increasing of the labile forms of phosphorous compounds – winter, spring and summer, as well as for the increasing of labile potassium compounds – winter and summer-autumn flooding.
