In course of the research there was studied the growth characteristics of black-motley and Hereford х black-motley genotypes of young growth of bull-calves to 6-month's age. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in agricultural production co-operative 'Kornad' in Svisloch district of Grodno region. As a result of realized research it was revealed that dynamics of body weight, daily average and relative gains of young growth testified that during all periods of postnatal developments mongrel animals exceeded the black-motley contemporaries on a pure gain of body weight on 6.2%, on a daily average gain during cultivation - on 6.3%, and on relative growth rate for 6 months - on 2.3% (Р less than 0.05). Studying of lethal indicators of experimental animals at 6-month's age testified that Hereford х black-motley young growth considerably exceeded the contemporaries on weight of the pair hulk, to weight of the cooled hulk, weight of pulp, an exit of the hulk, a lethal exit and a pulp exit in the semihulk on 23.7%, 26.6%, 34.6%, 15.2%, 15.2% and 6.3% accordingly (Р less than 0.001). The chemical and mineral structure of meat of experimental bull-calves testified that Hereford х black-motley hybrids exceed the black-motley hybrids under the fat content in meat, protein and a dry matter on 1.8%, 2.2% and 1.2% accordingly (P more than 0.05), and also under content Mg, K, Fe, Zn and Cu on 6.2%, 5.3%, 3.4%, 8.6% and 16.8% accordingly (P less than 0.05).
