In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of estimation of recognized original varieties of winter, spring and soft wheat (Triticum aestivum) and winter and spring triticale (Triticosecale), obtained on the basis of the method of electrophoretic analysis of proteins. In course of the study there were determined common, variety specific and unique protein spectrum; established the specific character of allele state of gliadin- encoding loci. There was marked different number of marker components of protein spectrum and established different degree of polymorphity. There were established the criteria of varieties identification, determined spectrum components, specific for the variety, and estimated the degree of polymorphism of varieties. There were analyzed varieties according to the regions of their selection, shown specific character of allele state for each region. It was suggested introducing the results of research in the form of a catalogue for the purpose of variety certification in the Republic of Belarus.
