In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analysed efficiency of application of potassium bromide and potassium iodide after a long-term combined and single application in combination with sodium chloride for feeding of calves which were bred for meet in the conditions of animal husbandry complexes. As a result of the lead researches it is determined that feeding calves with iodine and bromine potassium in complex with sodium chloride in mixed feeds content made it possible decrease of the ammonia level in rumen on 17-25% and urine in blood on 12-23% (P less than 0.05), to increase the digestibility of nutrients on 3-6% (P less than 0,05), the average daily weight gain - on 7-11% (P less than 0,05), as well as to decrease food conversion rate on 6-10% and production prime costs - on 6-8%.
