In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented the results of a prolonged (in course of 32 years) stationary experiment on studying the influence of winter rye (Secale cereale) straw ploughing on rotation productivity of subsequent crops (barley (Hordeum vulgare); oat (Avena sativa); maize (Zea mays); potato (Solanum tuberosum); pea (Pisum)-oat + oil radish (Raphanus sativus var. oleifera)) and humus content in soil. The study was realized in the condition of 8-field crop rotation. In course of the study there was analysed productivity of crop rotation depending on applied fertilizer systems and straw ploughing. There were presented data on humus content in grain crop rotation depending on applied fertilizer systems and straw ploughing and use of postharvest crops. Research results showed that straw ploughing of winter rye caused lowering of yielding capacity in crop rotation of the first crop after ploughing. Potato lowered yield on 3.3%, maize – on 6.2%, oat – on 10.6%, pea-oat mixture for green fodder – on 11%, barley – on 11.7%. On the second and subsequent crops there was marked no substantial yield losses or increases.
