In modern economic conditions application of intensive systems of crop husbandry requires development of technological methods of crop cultivation based on profitability of agricultural production. The most important reserve of agricultural producing optimization appears changes of the structure of planted acreage and straw mulching. Plowback of plant straw enriches soil with organic matter, increases biological activity of the soil, stimulates soil micro flora and raises agrochemical characteristics of soil fertility. The process of straw plowback represents economically effective technology, supplying energy and labor saving and increasing profitability of agricultural production. Quantitative evaluation of the content of nutritive elements in undegraded straw residues depending on its species composition appears scientific and practical challenge. In model field experiment the dynamics of nutrients and carbon content in non-mineralized residues of different straw kinds in processes of its transformation in sod-podzolic soils is studied. The terms of selection of non-mineralized residues of the straw, put on mineralization in sod-podzolic soil, are evaluated. The content of nutritive elements along with carbon in non-mineralized residues of straw is analyzed. Changes of chemical composition of agricultural plants' straw during its mineralization in sod-podzolic soils are researched. Levels of nutritive substances in different species of agricultural crops are evaluated, comparative analysis of nutritive value of each crop is made.
