In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented the data about the sown areas and productivity of soybean (Glycine max) during the last 4 years and the short characteristics of the varieties of the given crop, localized in Belarus, shows achievements of the leading agricultural companies and perspective plans of soya-growing development as well as the economic evaluation of soya growing in the north-eastern region of the Republic. In course of the study there was analysed characterstic (average and maximal yielding capacity; protein and fat content) of soybean varieties included into the state register of Belarus (Yaselda; Ustya; Stviga; Berezina; Pripyat; Veras; Ros'; Ranitsa; Annushka; Polesskaya 201; Oressa; Gratsiya). There were analasyed statistical data of yielding capacity of economic efficiency (operational expenditures; production value; prime cost; notional net profit; returns on investment) of cultivation of the following soybean varieties in Belarus in 2009-2011: Yaselda; Veras; Pripyat; Ros'; and Oressa.
