Заболеваемость крупного рогатого скота эндометритами в Гродненской области [Беларусь]

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus genital diseases of animals are one of the key problems in veterinary medicine today. Among a lot of cattle obstetric-gynecologic diseases the special place belongs to endometritis. The analysis of structure of cattle endometritis incidence rate in different regions of the Republic showed, that over the last 3 years there was marked the tendency of increased number of endometritis cases. According to the monitoring studies, the incidence of sexually transmitted infection (STI) endometritis of cows in Grodno region as a whole was in 2008 was marked at 29149 heads of animals, in 2009 – at 33401 heads, in 2010 – in 44452 animals. Carried out researches showed that the developed scientific recommendations, practical actions for treatment gynecologically sick cows have not lost their practical importance. However, their efficiency is low even on dairy complexes with scientifically proved production technologies (in accordance with the statistical data). It testifies to complexity and an insufficient state of knowledge the given problem. Thus, the problem of endometritis is relevant and requires further investigation.
