In the conditions of farms of the Republic of Belarus there was examined the state of the natural resistance of horses with different duration of prenatal development. The studies helped to determine that the formation of humoral indices of natural resistance of Trakenen horses and Belarusian draught breed occurs in the 12 months of age and has age dynamics. Superiority of horses with medium and long duration of prenatal development in terms of bactericide, lysozyme, and beta-lysine activity of blood serum was determined over animals with a shorter duration of prenatal development.
