A partir de la caracterización y el diagnóstico del sistema de gestión de la innovación en la rama porcina cubana, se identificó la carencia de un modelo de sistema de gestión de la innovación que se correspondiera con las transformaciones actuales. Se propuso un nuevo modelo de sistema denominado GECIPOR. Este sistema tiene como premisa incrementar al máximo la eficiencia y la excelencia en el cumplimiento de la misión y los objetivos del Instituto de Investigaciones Porcinas, en alianza estratégica con el Grupo Empresarial Porcino y el resto de las entidades vinculadas a la gestión de la ciencia y la innovación de la rama porcina. El GECIPOR está compuesto por cuatro subsistemas considerados fundamentales, subsistema de coordinación y control, subsistema de ejecución, subsistema de integración y subsistema de regulación. Los cuatro subsistemas establecen la dinámica e interrelaciones necesarias en la gestión de la ciencia y la innovación de la rama porcina. En la propuesta del modelo de sistemaGECIPOR, se exponen cambios basados en nuevos conceptos organizativos, metodologías y herramientas, para contribuir al cierre del ciclo

English. From the characterization and diagnosis of the management system of innovation in the Cuban pig industry, the lack of a management system model of innovation was identified. This model should be linked to current transformations. A new model called GECIPOR system was proposed. This system is premised on maximizing efficiency and excellence in compliance with the mission and objectives of the Swine Research Institute, in alliance with the Pig Business Group and other entities related to the management of science and innovation in the pig industry. The GECIPOR consists of four subsystems considered fundamental, the coordination and control subsystem, and the implementation, integration and regulation subsystems. The four subsystems would set up the dynamics and relationships needed in the management of science and innovation in the pig industry. In the proposed GECIPOR system model, changes are presented based on new organizational concepts, methodologies and tools to help close the cycle science/technology/innovation with efficiency.
