Comportamiento agronómico de siete genotipos de maíz amarillo Zea mays L. bajo condiciones de clima medio en el Departamento de Nariño

Con el fin de estudiar el comportamiento agronómico de siete genotipos de maíz amarillo Zea mays bajo condiciones de los municipios de Nariño, La Unión y Sandona, del departamento de Nariño, se evaluaron los cultivares L4/06B, L5/06B, L6/06B, L7/06B, L8/06B, la variedad mejorada ICA V-305 y el cultivar experimental Población l9, bajo un diseño de Bloques Completos al Azar con cuatro repeticiones en cada una de las localidades. Las variables evaluadas fueron: días a floración masculina y femenina, días a llenado de mazorca, altura de planta, altura de la primera mazorca, días a cosecha, número de mazorcas por planta, relación grano/mazorca, peso de cien granos y rendimiento. Los datos analizaron a través del Análisis de Varianza Combinado y pruebas de comparación de medias de Tukey. Los genotipos más precoces en las evaluaciones fueron ICA V-305 en La Unión con 65 días a flor femenina (DFF) y L5/06B con 65,5 DFF en Nariño. Los genotipos más destacados de las tres localidades fueron L6/06B y L7/06B con 68 y 69 DFF, respectivamente. Los genotipos con mayor altura encontrados en la evaluación fueron Población 19 con 1,73 m en Sandona y L5/06B con 1,67 m en la Unión. Los genotipos de mayores rendimientos en las tres localidades fueron: Población 19 y la variedad ICA V-305 destacando valores de 2006,53 Kg-ha-1 en Sandona y 1708,58 Kg-ha-1 en Nariño respectivamente.

In order to study the agronomic performance of seven genotypes of yellow corn Zea mays under conditions of the municipalities of Nariño, La Union and Sandona, the department of Nariño. The cultivars L4/06B, L5/06B, L6/06B, L7/06B, L8/06B, improved variety ICA V-305 and cultivar experimental Population l9 were evaluated under a Randomized Complete Block with four replications in each of the localities. The variables evaluated were: days to male and female flowering, days to fill ear, plant height, first ear height, days to harvest, number of pods per plant, ratio grain/ear, weight of hundred grains and performance. The data analyzed through the combined analysis of variance and mean comparison tests of Tukey. The earliest genotypes in the evaluations were ICA V-305 in La Union 65 days to female flower (DFF) and L5/06B with 65,5 DFF in Nariño. The genotypes most prominent of the three locations were L7/06B and L6/06B with 68 and 69 DFF, respectively. The genotypes having the highest found in the evaluation were Population 19 in Sandona with 1,73 m and L5/06B with 1.67 m in the Union. The genotypes for yield in the three locations were Population 19 and ICA V-305 variety emphasizing values 2006,53 Kg/ha in Sandona and 1708,58 kg/ha in Nariño, respectively.Keywords: Population 19, evaluations, locations, performance, cultivars.
