DETERMINACIÓN DEL RIESGO RELATIVO DE DESCARTE EN UN REBAÑO DE VACAS MESTIZAS DOBLE PROPÓSITO EN VENEZUELA

To determine the relative risk of culling (RRC) were evaluated 247 lactations of 83 cows located in the tropical rainforest (TRF) life zone, temperature average 26 ºC and annual average rainfall 2050 mm. Were used survival analysis under Weibull model, considering productive life (PL) as number of days between the date of first calving to culling or end date of the study, and including the effects that influenced RRC: breed group (BG1 < 50% Bos taurus (BT); BG2 > 50% BT and BG3 undefined crossbreed), age at first calving (AFC), number of calving (NC), stage of lactation (SL), total milk production (TMP), adjusted 305-day milk production (MP305), lactation length (LL) and year-season of calving (YSC). Para determinar el riesgo relativo de descarte (RRD) se evaluaron 247 lactancias de 83 vacas ubicadas en zona de vida de bosque húmedo tropical (BHT), temperatura promedio 26ºC y precipitación anual promedio 2050 mm. Se utilizó el análisis de supervivencia bajo el modelo de Weibull, considerando como vida productiva (VP) días transcurridos desde la fecha del primer parto hasta el descarte o fecha final del estudio e incluyendo los efectos que influyeron sobre el RRD: grupo racial (GR1 < 50% Bos taurus (BT); GR2 > 50% BT y GR3 mestizo indefinido), edad al primer parto en meses (EPP), número de partos (NP), estado de la lactación (EL), producción total de leche (PTL), producción ajustada a 305 días (PL305), duración de la lactancia (DL) y año-época de parto (AEP).
