Can the information and communication technology (ICT) revolution help policymakers make better decisions? An electronic ‘toolbox’ for policymakers to support analysis of interactions between livestock and the environment in different agricultural production systems was recently built by a consortium including the Natural Resources Institute (NRI). The aim was to generate environmentally-friendly livestock policies and investments.
