In other to determine the production ability of four phenotypic quail groups (White, Spotted Brown, Yellow and Black), an experiment was laid out in the Shabestar Station in a block design with six replications. Required eggs from 4 groups of quails were hatched. Then from each group, 300 numbers of day _ old quails were randomly selected. The traits including birth weight, body weight in different weeks, sexual maturity weight and age, feed consumption, egg number, egg weight, fertility and hatchability and mortality were recorded. Analysis of variance indicated that color groups had significant differences (P0.05) in birth weight. Hatch weight of white group was heavier than the others (8.17 gr). Comparison of the body weight indicated that there are significant differences among 4 groups (P0.05). The body weight of 49 day old Spotted Brown quails is 173.24gr. For age of sexual maturity, different groups had significant differences (P0.01). The white quails had less maturity age (57 days). The egg weight of 4 groups was significantly different (P0.01). The Spotted Brown quail group egg weight was heavier than the others (11.46 gr).
