Effect of Different Rates of Sulphur, Zinc and Boron On Yield and Quality of Sunflower

In order to study sulphur ,zinc and boron effects on quantitive and qualitive trade of sunflower, an experiment with twenty treatments and three replications was carried out in a factorial experiment and randomized complete block design. In this experiment factors included : sulphur in two levels(0,500 kg.ha-1) sulfhur with 1 ton organic matter and 0.5% of sulphur weight Thiobacilus inoculant. Zinc in three levels (0,20,40 kg.ha-1 zn ) from zinc sulphat source and boron in three levels (0,10,20 kg.ha-1 boron ) from acid bouric source and two additional treatments ( 1-consumption of 1 ton.ha-1 organic matter 2-consumption of sulphur with organic matter but without Thiobaclus inoculant). Due to the experiment results, sulphur consumption caused significant increase of thousand kernel weight at (á = 0.01) and non significant increase of yield, disk diameter and seed protein. With increasing levels of zinc up to the rate of 40 kg.ha-1, seed yield,thousand kernel weight and disk diameter increased and the best yield was obtained from Zn40. Boron consumption up to the rate of 10 kg.ha-1 increased sunflower seed yield, but increasing of boron consumption from 10 to 20 kg.ha-1 decreased yield. Boron consumption up to 20 kg.ha-1 caused thousand kernel weight incraese but the highest was related to B10.
