The objective of this study was to analyze the reproduction and productivity traits of imported Holstein breed cows and their first and second daughters for milk yield and quality. The data were collected about 45 Holstein breed cows imported from Germany, 19 first daughters and 12 second daughters at the Training and Research Farm „Vecauce”. An important parameter is the age of first calving (average 877 ± 17.6 days), and service period in 1st lactation (noted 180 ± 17.4 days). Full lactation was 395 ± 17.5 days. Yield of milk in 305 days was 6640 ± 181 kg. Fat content was 4.11 ± 0.06% and protein content was 3.45 ± 0.03%. Somatic cells on average were 110 ± 51 × 1000 mL-1. Milk productivity and quality traits of the first lactation of Holstein daughters were significantly higher than those of mothers (P is less than 0.05). There was a positive correlation (r = 0.44 – 0.84) regarding the milk yield and protein content for the mothers and their daughters, but there was no significant correlation regarding fat content.
