Using equilibrium displacement model, this study aims to simulate on the effects of introducing forest certification on shiitake mushroom market in Korea. For this study, it was applied to quantity per unit area of shiitake mushroom and expenses for FSC certification until Aug. 2010. Simulation scenarios were classified as the additional certification cost per unit quantity on shiitake mushroom, which was sorted with maximum, minimum and mean expense. Simulation results showed that the equilibrium quantity had a slight falling to 0.0138%(fresh) and 0.0259%(dried). While the equilibrium price was a little increasing to 0.0174%(fresh) and 0.0577%(dried). Thus total revenue was estimated to increase to 0.0138%(fresh) and 0.03%(dried).
