Russian. В статье показано, что в современных условиях аграрный сектор экономики приобретает первостепенное значение, так как дает ориентиры для принятия основных социально-экономических решений. Результативность его работы имеет существенное влияние на экономическое и социальное состояние региона. Сделан вывод, что цели развития отраслей сельского хозяйства Волгоградской области должны быть скорректированы в направлении создания условий для эффективного развития имеющихся структурных преимуществ в рыночных условиях и обеспечения на этой основе стабильного развития аграрного сектора региональной экономики.

And the impact of his work has had a significant impact on the economic and social situation of the region. The conclusion is drawn that the purposes of development of branches of agriculture of the Volgograd region have to be corrected in the direction of creation of conditions for effective development of available structural advantages in market conditions and providing on this basis of stable development of agrarian sector of regional economy.
