Лаудоновац најстарије село у Војводини [Србија] / Laudanovac the oldest Vojvodina village [Serbia]

South Banat village Laudonovac, which is located in the municipality of Plandiste is a typical example of village of Vojvodina, village with old population who is slowly disappearing. Laudonovac was founded in the late nineteenth century, but it was proclaimed village in 1978.This is a typical, agricultural settlement which does not have any other function except the traffic one (railway station). It is characterized by high values of mortality and birth rate whose levels have ben the same – 0 (zero) in the last 14 years!Negative population growth, migrations and bad economic situation are causing disappearance of one more geography maps.Age structure of a poulation is its biological characteristic and it influences a range of demographic processes and properties. Certain age structures are Vojvodina village from holders of certain processes or features, such as reproduction of population (young people) and economy (working population).The situation in our country has been bad for a long time due to a lot of unfavorable socio–economic conditions.Increased unemployment is the result/cosequence of such a state, which causes limited birth.When we connect low birth rate with high mortality rate corelation that we get is negative population growth, and therefore the inevitable aging of the population.The area of Vojvodina is characterized by its old population. Analyses show that the population of Vojvodina, is on average 41.0 years old¸ which gives us reason to be concerned, because it points out to a large proportion of elderly who are unable to reproduce, to work and the proportion of mortality is highest in that group.Laudonovac is a settlement where several nationalities live together and those are Serbs, Romanians, Macedonians.This ancient village today has average age of 54.5 years. What is particularly worrying is uneven middle age in different municipalities, especially in villages, because it points out the fact that in some municipalities the situation is more alarming than in others, and that the entire territory of Vojvodina suffers from general process of depopulation and more attention must be given to it. Based on the results it can be concluded that there is a serious problem of its aging and gradual extinction. Most alarming is that this is not the only problematic place but that there are other villages in this municipality with smilar problems and the majority of municipalities in Banat, and in entire Vojvodina.
