Count of somatic cells is an important indicator of udder health and milk quality. Any increase in the number of somatic cells in milk over 100.000/ml is associated with a decrease in production. In the milk of cows in first lactation cows from farms or where applicable good control of mastitis number of somatic cells are under 100.000/ml, and in milk from a healthy udder of the cows with multiple lactation number of somatic cells may be up to 200,000 / ml. In order to determine the relationship between somatic cell count and milk composition were examined 135 samples of bulk milk morning and evening milking, with 3 farms producing Holstein-Friesian, taken over five months, from February to June. Composition of raw milk was determined on instrument Milko- scan and somatic cell count on instrument Fossomatic 5000. Highest average milk fat content was found on a farm I and then on a farm II and a farm III. The highest average protein content was found on a farm I and then on a farm II and a farm III. The highest average lactose content was found on a farm II, then on a farm III and on a farm I. The highest average dry matter dry matter without fat was found on a farm II, on a III and on a farm I. In all 135 samples number of somatic cell was lower than 400,000 per milliliter. The highest average number of somatic cells was found on a farm I, than on a farm II and on a farm III. On a farm I, where the largest number of somatic cells was determined, the smallest percentage of lactose and solids non-fat was obtained.
