A field experiment with 6 Calendula officinalis genotypes was per formed in the location of Bački Petrovac. Nineteen harvests were achieved during a period of 120 days. The measurements included plant height, whole plant weight, weight of inflorescences per individual harvest and total weight, inflorescence diameter and the number of ligulate flowers. Harvest index, the percentage of ligulate flowers per inflorescence and coefficients of variation and correlation were calculated for the above traits. Different variation coefficients were obtained for the analyzed traits and they were found to depend on harvest date. Highest variation coefficients were recorded for yield of dry inflorescences, total carotenoids content and the number of ligulate flowers. In general for all genotypes under study, harvest date extended upon a higher impact on total carotenoids content and number of ligulate flowers than on plant height and inflorescence diameter. Highly significant and significant positive correlation were found between the total carotenoids content on one side and the number and percentage of ligulate flowers per inflorescence, respectively, on the other. A significant positive correlation existed between plant height and the yield of dry inflorescences.
