Methods of catching and processing of biomass of phyto- and zooplankton from pond ecosystems | Методы отлова и переработки биомассы растительного и животного планктона прудовых экосистем

English. In the process of pond cultivation, when the fry is released from nursery ponds, a large amount of valuable food organisms – a biomass of phyto- and zooplankton gets wasted in the Volga. A method of catching the biomass of phyto- and zooplankton during the release of sturgeon ponds to natural waters was created. For this method frames-traps the gas sieve installed in the discharge channel. It has been found that the total amount of biomass of phyto- and zooplankton caught within the period of fry release is about 10 tons, or about 2 tons of dry matter (20% of wet weight) at the pond area of 500 ha. The biomass collected and dried in an air- and centrifugal dryer is then used as a feed additive and can be used as a monodiet food at breeding warmwater aquaculture objects (Australian crayfish and guppy). Nearly all hydrobionts characterized for pond plankton, are found in the biomass: cyclops, daphnids, chironomids, leeches, damselfly and beetle larvaes and others. Traps are recommended to be placed during hours of darkness to decrease a content of filamentous alga in the biomass. As a result of the work performed, the item of intellectual property was developed and defended. This is "Artificial feed for aquaculture objects". A patent for an invention (application N 2010126498/13 (037731)) was also received.

Russian. При прудовом выращивании во время спуска молоди из выростных прудов в Волгу сбрасывается большое количество биомассы растительного и животного планктона. Предложен и апробирован способ ее отлова с помощью рамок-уловителей с газовым ситом, установленных в сбросном канале. Общее количество биомассы, отловленное за период выпуска молоди, при прудовой площади 500 га составило около 10 т (около 2 т сухого вещества). Собранную биомассу предварительно высушивали в специально разработанной воздушно-центробежной сушилке, после чего использовали в качесвте корма (в т.ч. как монодиету) при выращивании объектов тепловодной аквакультуры (в частности, австралийских раков и гуппи). В составе собранной биомассы обнаружены практически все гидробионты, типичные для планктона прудов: циклопы, дафнии, хирономиды, пиявки, личинки стрекоз, жуков и др. С целью снижения содержания в биомассе нитчатых водорослей уловители рекомендуется устанавливать в темное время суток. По результатам исследований разработан и защищен объект интеллектуальной собственности "Искусственный корм для объектов аквакультуры", получен патент на изобретение (заявка № 2010126498/13(037731)).
