This paper is focused on the evaluation of limited and unlimited emissions in relation to biodiesel combustion in a tractor engine. Measurements were carried out in accordance with the OECD Code 2 test. In its next part, our work is focused on diesel oil analyses, rapeseed methyl ester, and the evaluation of limited and unlimited emissions produced by their combustion. After that, test results are compared and emissions are evaluated - greenhouse gases (CO, CO2, NOX, NO2, N2O, NO, CH4), harmful exhaust gases (NH3, SO2, THC, AHC) and strong carcinogens (C4H6 - 1,3-butadiene, CH3CHO - acetaldehyde, HCN - cyanic acid, HCHO - isocyanic acid) and their content is detected during the combustion of fuels. These measurements were carried out at the Department of Transport and Handling (DTH) of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra and at the Research Station Agroscope ART in Tänikon (AAT) in Switzerland. At the AAT, the measurements were carried out using the Hurlimann H488 tractor.
