The quality and security management systems are one of the ways of assurance the production to the established requirements. Conceptual approaches, methodical bases, advantages and shortcomings of the quality and security management systems in agro-industrial complex in the Republic of Belarus are showed. As a result of realized research two directions in development of control systems by quality and safety of food production - universal and specialized (branch) systems are allocated. Control systems of quality ISO-9000 which advantage is maintenance of competitiveness of made production in the world market, and concern the first a lack - that they do not consider all features of branch. In branch the systems HAССP, GMP, ISO-22000, each of which according to area of problems is directed on realization of definite purposes, were included. Systems GMP and HAССP make it possible to organize the production to the greatest degree answering to realization of a principle of the warning control and by that minimize probability of producing of unsafe production. ISO-22000 provides the uniform approach of the involved subjects of managing to quality management and production safety. Complex of the analyzed characteristics of each of systems makes it possible to assert, that production of qualitative, competitive, safe agricultural production is possible only on the basis of integrated approach which consists in association not only the basic conceptual approaches of various systems, but also their purposes.
