In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were examined the parameters of microclimate in the zone of recreation of piglets and the growth of animals while using different methods of heating and heat localization. In course of the study there were used conical and cylindrical bruder and the bruder executed in the form of a cover with vertical peaks of PVC of panels which allowed to localize under them heat from pigs and a warmed floor or filament lamps. In scientific and economic experiment there was studied microclimate in rooms and in recreation areas of pigs: from birth till 21 days – weekly, from weaning period till the end of the experiment – indexes of body height of pigs. Results of research showed that the use of brooders in the form of caps with vertical protection in suckling and after-weaning periods is the most efficient, in addition to local heating in the first three weeks of suckling period with the help of incandescent lamps or heated floor.
