In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed a classification of plant reproduction methods. It was noted that in national and foreign studies on botany there has been given different estimates to the essence of agamobium and to the place of spore reproduction in the system of methods of plant reproduction. Taking into account a number of objective signs of plants, we think that only vegetative reproduction should be considered agamic, and that spore reproduction, along with seed one, should be considered as gamic method of reproduction. In course of the study the was presented the generalized scheme of cycles of reproduction of the highest sporous and seed plants. The offered classification of reproduction methods could be convenient when studying the highest plants. But it is also applicable and for the lowest plants.
