In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there established ecological indicators (eco-toxicological danger, hectare ecological load, the amount of average-lethal dozes per hectare norm of preparation) of pesticides, which are allowed to be applied for sunflower (Helianthus annuus) cultivated for oilseeds. The estimation of economic efficiency of pesticides use is given on a basis of correlation of the effect received as a result of their application in the form of an additional yielding capacity and resources saving technology of material resources and expenses with support of plants protection. For the analysis of economic efficiency the following parameters were taken into account: amount of kept yields in view of increase of its quality, an expense for protective actions, the net profit and profitability or a recoupment of plants protection applied means. Most ecologically and economically accessible preparations were revealed. Among all herbicides which are available for the control of weed plants number in sunflower crops, most ecologically safe for an environment and paying off an increase of a crop less than 1,0 center/hectares are antigerbaceous preparations - Target giper, Fyuziland forte and Taifun.
