Sugar production in Argentina

The paper directs its attention to the historical evolution and the current state of sugar production in Argentina. On the global scale, the country itself does not produce significant quantities of sugar yet, though, it has experienced a dynamic growth in the past years. Moreover, the demand for Argentine sugar is expected to grow in the years ahead, which can act as an incentive for further development of the entire local sugar industry.
