A study of the impact of some variables on the role of rural community leaders in the extension activities in Dakahliya Governorate

This research aims primarily to identify the general characteristics that distinguish the community leaders, and to identify the role of the respondent leaders in extension activities and factors affecting it, and to identify the correlation between the degree of the respondent leaders of their role in extension activities and the independent variables studied, and to identify the degree of the existence of problems facing respondent leaders in extension activities and the independent variables studied, and to identify the degree of the existence of problems facing respondent leaders in extension activities, as well as to identify the most important proposals to overcome these problems and the promotion of respondent leaders and the expected roles of the respondent leaders and their needs to carry out these roles. This research was conducted in Dakahlya Governorate based on a sample of 244 respondents, was the use of frequencies and percentages in the presentation of descriptive data, the arithmetic mean, Spearman correlation coefficient has also been analyzing the role of respondent leaders in extension activities and factors affecting it. The results showed that there were positive correlations between the degree of the respondent leaders role in extension activities, and each of the (agricultural land, the ability to publish recommendations for guidance, the degree of frequency on the agricultural service centers and social relations).
