Studying the knowledge level of rural women in some home economics activities

The main objective of this research was studying the knowledge level of rural women ýý(housewives) in some home economics activities namely food and nutrition, clothing and ýtextiles. Data were collected from a random sample consisted of 300 women of Aslogi ývillage, Sharkia Governorate. A questionnaire was developed to collect data, person ýcorrection (T) test, qui-square, were used as statistical methods for analyzing and ýrepresenting research data. The results showed that a significant positive relationship ýbetween the knowledge level about food and nutrition and each of the following ýindependent variables; educational level, age, family income. The results indicated also, ýthat there was a significant correlation between the knowledge level about clothing and ýtextiles and each of the following independent variables; age , educational level, family ýincome. It was found that there was a significant difference between the general ýknowledge level about food and the general knowledge level about clothing.ý
