In order to determine the effects of superabsorbent and antitranspirants on yield and yield components of maize (Zea mays L. Cv. Sc 704). An experiment was carried out a Split - Plot arrangement in a randomized complete block design with three replications in Agriculture Research center of Jiroft and Kahnouj in under drought stress condition (irrigation in evaporation 130mm) 2009 2010 cropping season. The three levels of superabsorbent (Control, 200 and 400) kg/ha were the main plots and four levels Antitranspirants (Control, Atrazin, Folic acid, Salysilic acid) were collected in the sub plot. Analysis of variance for different traits showed that the effect of superabsorbent and significantly affected (P %5) on grain yield, 1000 seed weight and Antitranspirants had significant effect (P %1) on grain yield grain number / row and total grain number / ear. The interaction effect between superabsorbent and antitranspirants significantaly on grain yield, grain number / row and 1000 grain weight, but the effect of interaction between superabsorbent and antitranspirants on grain row number. Total grain number / ear was not significant. The greatest grain yield, under drought stress condition, up to 10.76, 10.40 and 9.67 (t/ha), were obtained superabsorbent 400 kg/ha × folic acid superabsorbent 400 kg/ha × salysilic and superabsorb 200 kg/ha × folic acid treatment. In finally: the maximum economic grain yield, under drought stress condition, superabsorbent 200 kg/ha with folic acid is recommended for Jiroft region.
