A collered atlas of weed seeds in Iran

Weed seeds not only cause impurity in seeds of strategic crops but also decrease quality and quantity of agronomic crops. Identification of weed seeds is valuable especially when they infect seeds of crops and or when studying seed bank collection. In Iran there are nearly 700 species of weeds which 300 to 400 of them are of more importance. In this project, nearly 380 species of Iranian weeds were collected and identified, and the results will be presented in an electronic book format by Mr Dadkhahi poor. This book, contains an identification key, in addition to pictures of plants and their seeds. Currently samples of these weeds and their seeds are kept in Weed Iran Collection (in Dep. Botany).
