Production of new cultivar with alternative genetically traits need genetic diversity that breeder can produce favorite heredity structure for the desired environmental conditions. In this research, 77 segregation populations including 28 number of F3 generation, 31 number of F4 generation and 18 number of F6 generation were evaluated by modified bulk method in Gachsaran agricultural research station in 2010-2011. Evaluation of population based on desired physiological and agronomical characteristics for semi-warm dryland conditions such as growth vigor, growth type, favorite phenotype such as height, stem and leaf angle, synchronization of spikes, earliness, tolerance to heat and drought stresses and resistance to common diseases. The selected populations of each generation will be tested in advanced trials in the following years.
