Determination of the most suitable seed date of three high yielding rice cultivares in Golestan province
2011
Arazi, Vali | Faraji, Abolfazl
In order to study yield and yield components of three high yielding rice Varieties at different seeding dates in Golestan province a project was carrired out in a CRBD in 2009-10 with 3 replications. Four seed dates were from apr.9 with 20 days distance. Seeding dates with 4 levels were the main plots and 3 levels of rice variety were the subplots. main plots were four levels including apr 9, apr 29, may 19 and jun 8. the subplots were 3 levels hncluding: Fajr, shiroody and daylam. The result showed that the differences between yield in seed dates were very significant and produced further grain yield at apr 29. The effect of variety was significant on the yield and yield components. On the whole, Shiroodi, Fajr and Bahar1 variety were 5444, 4380 and 4472 kg/ha, respectively, that was significantly different. The effect of Seeding date was significant on 1000-seed weight, seed yield, number of filled grains/panicle and tillers number/m2 At 1% probability.. Lowest seed yield was realated to last plating date(jun.8). Variety of Shiroody and bahar1 were produced Highest and lowest seed yield respectively. But was not significantly different seed yield between Fagr and bahar
